Welcome to our website!
Amersham Band is a 4th section brass band based in South Buckinghamshire. The band
was established in 1890 as 'The Amersham Sons of Temperance Band' and flourishes
today with over 50 members including our training band.
Are you looking for a traditional brass
band, or a smaller brass group, who play a wide range of repertoire to entertain
at your next big event? -
Or perhaps you are an enthusiastic brass player at beginner, intermediate or advanced level and looking to join in with the fun of being part of a band. Have a look through our website to find out more about us.

What’s New?
Band Triumphs again at Folkestone
Amersham Band scooped first prize in the Folkestone Contest second section, having
only just been promoted from 
third section a year ago. The adjudicator commented
on our convincing and artistic performance of Music for a Festival composed by Philip
Sparke which also secured additional trophies for best solo horn, best horn section
and best percussion section. Our Musical Director, Paul Fisher was justly awarded
a trophy for best Musical Director.

Vacancies
We currently have vacancies for a BBb Bass player and Euphonium player to complete our line up. Other players are also welcome. Why not come and give us a go! Amersham is on the Metropolitan line and Chiltern rail line from London. Lifts are available from the surrounding area. Contact us for more information.
